Where to climb

Climbing gyms in Mexico City and Mérida

RockSolid runs two bouldering gyms: one in Coyoacán, in the south of Mexico City, and one in Mérida, Yucatán. Each location has its own hours, classes and prices.

What is climbing?

Climbing is solving problems with your whole body: strength, technique and a cool head in equal parts. You don't need prior experience or a special fitness level, just the will to try.

Frequently asked

About bouldering

Why only bouldering, no rope climbing?

Right now we focus 100% on bouldering to give the best possible experience in this discipline. It's also the most accessible way to start climbing: no climbing partner, harness, or extra gear needed.

Is it dangerous if I've never climbed before?

No one is immune to accidents; despite the beautiful colors and shapes, climbing remains a high-risk sport. But don't let that scare you—if it's your first time, we offer a completely free, safe introduction where you'll learn how to fall safely, how the wall works, and the safety rules.

Do I need strength or prior experience?

Not at all. You don't need prior experience or a special fitness level: strength and technique develop as you climb, at your own pace.

What are "grades" in bouldering?

It's how routes are classified by difficulty — the higher the grade, the more technical the move. There are routes at every grade, so no matter your level, there's always something for you.
